A huge congratulations to our GE students for all of their amazing reading this summer! 

Last spring, Mrs. Frey taught students how to use a new App called Beanstack during students’ library lessons. Students also had the opportunity to link Beanstack to the public library summer reading program.  We had over 75% of our students participate in logging reading through Beanstack this summer and GE students collectively logged 173,559 reading minutes, and completed 2,703 Beanstack Reading Badges!   We received the news that our school had the second highest participation and reading engagement through Beanstack NATIONALLY!  We were awarded $1000 in prize money, which we are excited to use towards new books and a celebration for our students at the end of September.
