How To: PowerSchool Parent/Guardian Account Needed to Sign up for Summer School

PowerSchool allows parents and guardians virtual access to your child's grades and attendance and gives you the ability to email your child's teacher directly from the parent portal. Starting this year, Summer School sign up will be on PowerSchool. You will need a PowerSchool account to sign up for Summer School. 2023-24 Student and Family Calendar Now Available

Click the link above for the 2023-24 Student and Family Calendar. The calendar includes district-wide dates to remember such as first and last days of school, days with no school, student asynchronous days, ends of quarters, religious holidays recognized in Verona Area School District (VASD) administrative rules, school start and end times, and the Late Start Monday schedule.

VASD Organizational Structure

Last year, our administrative and human resources teams collaborated with our Student Advisory Group, Staff Advisory Group, and Parent Advisory Group, held listening sessions, completed building walkthroughs, and collected survey results from students, families, and staff. We used this data to consider how to best organize staff to serve all students, decrease educator workload, and function coherently.
