• Devices for students in grades K-5 will stay at school.  
• All devices in grades 6-12 will be taken home daily by the student and they are responsible for the care of the device, along with ensuring it is fully charged every day for school.  Device Insurance is highly recommended.

All of our K-1 iPads devices use Mosyle, which filters internet searches done by your student. The apps students have access to are in an app called Mosyle Student. These apps are only those requested by teachers for their classes.

All of our 2-12 Chromebook devices use GoGuardian.  You have the ability to see what your child is searching by logging in online or downloading the app.  You should use the email address you have in PowerSchool to log in.  For information with setting this up, please view the Getting Started page.

Students do not have access to the traditional App or Chrome Store on their district-owned device.

A learning management system helps teachers to deploy all of the necessary information for their class online in one place. This could include assignments, quizzes, discussion boards, calendars, and resources.

At the elementary level, we use a modified learning management system called Seesaw. If you need help with signing into Seesaw, there is a document for Clever sign-in and a document for web login. Parents can access Seesaw to view their student's work. Please contact your student's teacher for how you can access this. Here are some other resources to help with some questions you may have:

Some staff also use Google Classroom.  

At the secondary level, we use a program called Canvas. Parents can become observers in Canvas. Here is a link with written instructions and a link to a video outlining the process.

Clever is VASD's single sign on system. This allows students to click a button and log into an app without having to remember their password. Since Clever only works with certain apps, a teacher will instruct students when they can use it to sign in.

Every technology device experiences glitches and issues at various times. The easiest way to fix most issues simply by doing a hard reset.  To do this, please follow these steps:

First, make sure that you have the correct password for your home internet. If you know that you are entering the correct password, we have found that families that have Charter/Spectrum internet service need to complete an extra step. Please see this document to walk you through that process.

Safety and Security settings on devices may not allow for connection on your home internet (for example, if you have a VPN).  You will need to work with your internet provider for these issues.

Yes, every student has a district-owned Google account. Their email address (used to sign into Google) is their ID number followed by @verona.k12.wi.us (i.e. #####@verona.k12.wi.us).

Canvas (Parent Browser Link) is the learning management system (LMS) that is used with our middle and high school sites. Connecting as an observer will allow you to view course information, without affecting any of the data. You will need to create an account to be an observer and will need a pairing code from each student you are wanting to observe.

We have implemented a new cybersecurity measure to strengthen the safety of student accounts.  Student accounts will not be accessible from outside the United States.  This helps protect against international cyber threats and ensures the secruity of our students' data.
