    Personal Purpose Statement:

I am dedicated to fostering trusting relationships so that all students are given what they need in order to be successful and in turn feel empowered through their learning experiences.

This is my personal mission statement as an educational leader.  I believe our school system and buildings should welcome each student with open arms, embracing the unique identities, histories, and interests that they bring with them.  We should adapt to these individual needs and in turn empower our students to critically reflect on and implement their learning authentically into their own lives.   A foundation of trusting relationships between students, staff, families, and the community is needed in order for this vision to become a reality. My grounding values of gratitude, humility and critical thinking guide my interactions with others and help foster these relationships. Communication is essential for student success. Contact me if you have any questions about what is happening at school.

“Every conversation I have in and about schools is a conversation about equity.”
