Requests for Special Education Evaluation (Child Find)
Current VASD K-12th Grade Students
We understand the importance of providing tailored educational support to every student. If you believe your child may benefit from additional accommodations, including qualifying for those under Section 504 or for Special Education services, we invite you to utilize our Request for Support, 504, or Special Education Evaluation Form. This form allows you to request a conversation around additional support, including an option to formally open a Section 504 or Special Education evaluation if you are familiar with these process and timelines to determine eligibility for these services. Our dedicated team is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment and appreciates the opportunity to speak with families about support options. After submission, your request will be received by your student's school's special education/pupil service team. Someone from the team will contact you within 48 hours regarding the next steps.
