Seasonal and Temporary Positions

Seasonal and temporary employees and workers play a necessary and valuable role in the education of our students.  VASD seasonal/temporary employees enjoy flexibility on the dates and times they work.  

We are actively accepting applications for part-time lifeguards, swim instructors, AVID tutors and athletic event workers.  Apply online here.  

2022-23 Hourly Rates

Lifeguard (Early Morning): $18.00 per hour
Lifeguard: $17.00 per hour
Aquatic Center Supervisor: $20.00 per hour
Swim Instructor: $22.00 per hour  

AVID Tutor: $16.25 per hour  
Athletic Event Workers: 2022-23 Rates TBD
