The Verona Area School District strives to assure the timely flow of information, appropriate input, and strategic two-way communication between the district and the public that builds understanding and support for district efforts (Board of Education Operational Expectation 9).

The Verona Area School District (VASD) recently completed a communications audit to better understand caregivers’ perceptions of the organization, get a sense of what caregivers think about current communication efforts, determine which types of information are of particular interest, and how caregivers wish to be informed. The audit included the following: facilitation of an internal communications work group to provide staff perspectives; inventory of current practices; website review; student, community, and staff survey; input session with principals; and an input session with the Superintendent’s Student, Family, and Staff Advisories. • Text (SMS) messages: Message START to "60680" from the phone that you want to opt in.
• Emails: Call your school's main office.

• Phone calls: Call the Blackboard Phone Hotline at "855-502-STOP (855-502-7867)".
• Text (SMS) messages: Reply STOP to any Blackboard system text.
• Emails: Click the unsubscribe link from any email you receive.

Users can opt back into text messages:
