Preorder and Weekly Meal Pickup

For the convenience of our families, we are now offering a weekly pickup of meals for all children aged 18 years and younger free of charge. Each family must preorder the meals. Ordering for next week’s meals will close on the preceding Wednesday at midnight. Each child will receive five balanced breakfast and lunch meals that meet the requirements for the National School Lunch & Breakfast Programs.

You will have the choice of 3 pick-up sites & time in the form. They are:-

1. High School Monday 11:15 am - 12:45 pm
2. High School Monday 5 pm - 6 pm
3. Stoner Prairie Monday 5 pm - 6 pm

Parents/Guardians who desire a different pick up site for various weeks due to their conflicting schedules will need to submit multiple orders; for example, if you want week 1 and 2 at HS Monday 11:15 am pick up, and week 3 and 4 at Stoner Prairie,  you will need to submit 2 orders with the relevant pickup site and correct weeks checked for that site. The cut-off time for each week's order is the preceding Wednesday 11:59 pm. You should get an email receipt confirming your order. If you need to cancel or change your order, please email

To speed up the pick-up process, each vehicle should display the first and last name of the parent/guardian who placed the order along. For example: Chloe Smith on a letter size paper in large letters.

Is there a cost for the meals and who is eligible to receive them?
All children aged 18 and younger are eligible to receive the meals free of charge.

Can I request meals for the adults in the family?
Unfortunately, no. If you require assistance in this area, please check out the various resources in Verona such as the Badger Needs Prairie Network.

Does my child need to be present to pick up the meals?

Are you able to provide a contact-free pickup?
Yes, the parent/guardian can drive up and have the trunk opened for the staff to put the meals in. It is best that the meals are put directly in the trunk to help maintain the 6 feet of social distancing at all time. 

Are there alternative options for children with allergies or special dietary needs?

What happens if I need to cancel my order or something happened and I am unable to pick it up?
Please email us at if you are unable to pick up your meals. Informing us helps to minimize waste and to make alternative arrangements.
