What makes special education "special" in the VASD is the focus on collaboration and the overwhelming community support for students with disabilities.  With a focus on integrated services, we seek to continually grow as professionals so we provide effective services and instruction to our students.  Our goal is to always move towards independence for each of our students so that they may be successful community members as adults.
