What happens in the event of accidental damage, loss or theft?

The VASD offers an insurance program called the iPad Damage Waiver Program, and it is available for students in grades K-12.  Enrolling in the program protects you in the event of accidental damage, loss or theft. By enrolling in the program, the maximum liability is $ 100.00 per incident. If you are fee exempt, the maximum liability is $ 25.00 per incident.  

If a family chooses to decline to enroll, they are responsible for the entire cost to repair/replace an iPad. Replacement costs are listed below, and repair costs vary, depending on the extent of the damage.

iPad replacement cost: $ 300.00

Power Cord: $ 12.00

Power Brick: $ 12.00
