Provides leadership regarding personnel issues including overlap with business office issues.  Initiates human resource policy and procedure changes.  Coordinates district hiring processes.  Provides leadership in regards to contract administration and assists in collective bargaining.

Provides assistant services to the Director of Human Resources.  Manages procedures and processes for hiring, maintains credit and reimbursement records.   Issues teacher and extra-curricular contracts.  Compiles new hire application and transcript information.  Helps maintain employee personnel files.

Processes payroll and administers employee benefits. Compiles payroll/benefit information for new staff and provides assistance to all staff on payroll/benefit issues. Maintains personnel files related to payroll and benefits. Compiles quarterly tax reports, year-end reports and WI retirement system reports. Tracks general leave and vacation usage.

Provides support tracking and record keeping related to all employee absence management issues, Unemployment Compensation, Family and Medical Leave requests, Long Term Disability, Worker’s Compensation and work-related injuries.  Responsible for substitute employment coordination, and record keeping related to absence records.
