An informational meeting was held on Thursday, January 10, 2013, for all VASD resident parents with incoming kindergarten students Parents with incoming kindergarten students that have already informed the district they plan to have their child attend VASD have been mailed information regarding the choices available to them for their child next year and invited to make a placement request by February 15th. Parents are asked to make a placement choice requesting to have their child attend their attendance area elementary school or they may request to have them attend one of the three charter schools available in the district. All three charter schools have space limits. Below are the Powerpoint presentations that were presented at the meeting describing each of the site options.

Parents that are new to the Verona Area School District with a child that is age appropriate for kindergarten next fall are encouraged to call the district office as soon as possible at 845-4300. We ask that you provide the district with information about your child so we can anticipate them attending in September.
