At their July 23 meeting, the Board of Education voted on attendance area boundaries for our elementary and middle schools. These attendance area changes will take effect starting the 2020 - 2021 school year.

The Board has not yet made a decision on the extent of grandfathering, if any, for elementary school students as that will be addressed at a future Board meeting. For middle school students, the Board approved carrying out a “phase-in” plan over a three-year period. Parents who will have a middle school student sometime in the 2020 -2021 to 2022 – 2023 school years have already received a letter detailing that process.

Final maps are linked below that show current and future attendance areas for elementary and middle schools. After the Board has made a decision on grandfathering, additional detail will be sent to families!

Lastly, the Board of Education extends its gratitude to the members of the Attendance Area Advisory committee for their ten months of work leading up to this decision. The Board is also grateful to parents / staff / community members who participated in the process by attending meetings and presentations.
