Verona Area School District believes that “Every Student MUST Be Successful.” Our curriculum is research-based and designed to provide learners with skills for future success. Curriculum is based on the Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and C3 (College, Career, and Civic Life) Social Studies Standards. Learning experiences are personalized; all students work towards rigorous goals, and the ways they engage in, access, and express learning vary to optimize success.

Notice of Educational Options
The state of Wisconsin now requires that all school districts inform families about educational options for all children who reside in that district. The Verona Area School District offers a variety of educational options to children who reside in the District. The District’s primary educational pathway and instructional program for students involves a progression from 4-year-old kindergarten through 12th grade, leading to a high school diploma.

Annual Notice of Standards 2020-2021School Boards must annually notify parents/guardians of students enrolled in the district of the academic standards to be used for the upcoming school year.
