Core Knowledge® Charter School (CKCS) of the Verona Area School District rang in its 20th year with the ACTUAL hand bell that rang in the first school year back in 1996. This is the first time the bell has been rung since that day.
The bell was rung by Chris Uelmen – Curriculem Director (who rung the FIRST bell 20 years ago), Kelli Kreienkamp -2nd grade teacher and one of the school founders, and Rick Kisting – new Director of the school.
