The High School K-wing is the site of July 6-10 training of local police, fire and EMS as they play out various active shooter incidents. Officers practiced neutralizing the area, securing the surrounding areas and setting up warm zones for EMS to set up triage and treat victims.
Verona staff also took part in training as they assisted EMS in victim identification. Several scenarios will be played out each day of the week for agencies around Dane County to be trained.
