3rd Graders Learn Math Through Making Truffles with Mr. Muffles

Nearly 100 3rd graders gathered in the Glacier Edge cafeteria, but not for lunch this time! Mr. Muffles, also known as Mark Clinger (father of Glacier Edge teacher Ms. Borchardt), made an appearance in chef attire to help teach kids how to run this truffle business using their mathematic skills.
The students were able to make their own customized truffle, by choosing their toppings.
Things may have been a little messy at first...
...but to package the truffles in boxes of 10 by flavors forced students to learn skills in adding, subtracting and multiplication as some truffles were left over to be added to a box of assorted flavors!
